UFC Fight Night 182 weigh-in results: Felder and Dos Anjos set, but three come in

LAS VEGAS – MMA Junkie was on scene and reporting live from Friday’s official UFC Fight Night 182 fighter weigh-ins, where two fighters missed their marks for Saturday’s card.

In the main event, former lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos (29-13 MMA, 18-11 UFC) returns to the division after a stint at welterweight to take on short-notice replacement Paul Felder (17-5 MMA, 9-5 UFC), who took the bout on five days’ notice after Islam Makhachev was forced out with a staph infection.

Felder was the first fight to the scale during the two-hour weigh-in window and came in at 155.75 pounds. About 10 minutes later, dos Anjos stepped on the scale and was 156 to make the main event official.

Three fighters missed weight, though. Abdul Razak Alhassan (10-2 MMA, 4-2 UFC) was 1.5 pounds heavy for his welterweight co-main event against Khaos Williams (10-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC). Alhassan weighed in with 30 minutes left in the two-hour window and was 172.5 pounds. Williams weighed in in the first five minutes of the window and was 170.

Eryk Anders (13-5 MMA, 5-5 UFC) came in 1.5 pounds heavy for his middleweight bout against Antonio Arroyo (9-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC) on the main card. Anders was 187.5 pounds and will be fined 20 percent of his purse. Arroyo was 185.5.

And Louis Smolka (16-7 MMA, 7-7 UFC), the last fighter to come to the scale with 10 minutes left in the two-hour window, was 3 pounds heavy for his bantamweight bout against Jose Quinonez (8-4 MMA, 5-3 UFC). Former flyweight Smolka was 139 pounds for his first weight miss in the UFC. Quinonez was on the mark at 135 even.
